Everyone has the same amount, 1 minute, 24 hours, it is all the same. What matters is what we do with the time given to us. God asks us to use our time wisely throughout the Bible. Why? Because we really do not know how much time we have here.
Psalm 39:4-5
Show me, Lord, my life’s end and the number of my days; let me know how fleeting my life is. You have made my days a mere handbreadth; the span of my years is as nothing before you. Each man’s life is but a breath.
With that said, we need to be very careful with how we live. We need to stop saying “I do not have time” but start being a better steward of the the time that is given to us. How do we do this? Well, that is dependent upon you. We could start by actively listening to our neighbors around us today. Ask yourself what you could do to help or make a situation better.
Here at Good Shepard we have many opportunities that could use your time. Here are a few examples:
*Ushering
*Cleaning
*Sunday School
*Communion
*Counting
*Bible Study
*Serving/cooking
*Music
*Praying and spending time with the Lord by yourself and with your family
As Christians, we all want to manage our time better so we would have life and have it abundantly. John 10:10
